Job Overview:

Continental Tide is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager responsible for business development, client management, and program execution of ship Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) or electronic system projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Local Program Manager representative for Continental Tide across the entire NSWCPD business line
  • Responsible for business development and client management within NSWCPD area
  • Oversee and direct program and project initiatives
  • Develop proposal responses, project estimates and prepare status reports
  • Lead and direct work of employees assigned to projects
  • Work with Continental Tide Senior Management and Department heads on strategic initiatives and identification of growth opportunities
  • Perform duties outside of specialty to complete work assignment

Experience and Skills

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • 5-10 years of experience required Familiar with NSWCPD organization, contract structure and technical codes
  • Familiar with FAR clauses and contract management
  • Ability to develop proposal responses (IDIQ / Seaport-e) is a must
  • Must have or have the ability to obtain SECRET clearance
  • Must have the ability to obtain base access and security credentials

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate problem solving, decision making skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and execute multiple assigned tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
