Continental Tide is seeking a motivated, energetic and
detail-oriented individual for a Mechanical Engineer position located
at Philadelphia Naval Business Center in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal
candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in the
research, design, installation, testing, maintenance and integration
of shipboard mechanical systems that includes working knowledge of the
Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Naval
Shipyard, and Regional maintenance centers. The successful candidate
will join our Engineering Team currently supporting initiatives for
Naval Sea Systems Command at the Naval Ship Systems Engineering Station/NSWCPD.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing engineering support during the
installation, operation, troubleshooting, and/or maintenance of
- Apply engineering principles to support system research and
development (R&D) and design, production, and shipboard
integration for PLC control systems and equipment.
- Lead technical project teams, schedules, reports and brief
customers and senior management.
